VardCraft respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through vardcraft.ca and in the course of our renovation work, and how we use it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email, phone number, project address, and the project details or photos you send us through our contact form, booking form, email or phone.

  • Information collected automatically: when you visit our website, our website provider (Wix) and analytics tools may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and cookies.

2. How we use your information

  • To answer your questions and prepare quotes

  • To schedule consultations and work

  • To communicate with you about your project, invoices and warranty

  • To improve our website

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We will not send you marketing emails without your consent.

3. Who we share it with
We only share your information when needed:

  • With service providers that help us run our business (for example, website hosting, forms and booking through Wix, email and accounting software). They must protect your information.

  • With subcontractors working on your project, limited to what they need (for example, your address and schedule).

  • When required by law.

4. Photos of completed work
We may photograph our completed work for our website, gallery and social media. We never show your name, address or anything that identifies your home without your permission.

5. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to function and to understand how visitors use it. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site may not work properly.

6. Storage and security
Your information is stored securely by our service providers, whose servers may be located outside Canada (for example, in the United States) and may be subject to the laws of those countries. We take reasonable steps to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax records).

7. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, withdraw your consent or ask us to delete it, subject to legal requirements. Email us at info@vardcraft.ca and we will respond within 30 days. If you have a concern we cannot resolve, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).

8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
